Received Funding from the Korea Health Industry Development Institute

For a Specialized Graduate Program of Medical Device Industry

Dept. of Medical Device & Research, the Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology (SAIHST) at SKKU, has been selected as the institution responsible for “A Specialized Graduate Program of Medical Industry” by Korea Health Industry Development Institute.

To foster experts with practical skills and global perspectives in the medical device industry,   Korea Health Industry Development Institute has selected SAIHST for the specialized graduate program this year. Dept. of Medical Device & Research (SAIHST) will receive 1.6 billion KRW in funding that will run until 2022.

It is a big opportunity for Dept. of Medical Device & Research (SAIHST) to foster experts and leaders who are specialized in technology management, licensing, marketing, and insurance registration for the medical device industry, as well as to invest more resources on education and research.
