2018년 9월 17일부터 19일, COEX에서 개최된 2018 한국분자세포생물학회(KSMCB)에서 삼성융합의과학원(SAIHST) 융합의과학과 박사과정 기수미 학생(지도교수: 이지은)이 Excellent Poster Award를 수상하였습니다.
■ 주제: The diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2)-dependent primary cilia assembly is essential for differentiation of pre-adipocyte. ■ 내용: I investigated the relationship between primary cilia and DGAT2 in adipocyte differentiation. To identify target molecules regulated by DGAT2-mediated primary cilia assembly, I have performed transcriptomic analysis with Dgat2-depleted 3T3-L1 cells. The results show that depletion of Dgat2 inhibits G1-to-S phase transition by up-regulation of CDK inhibitors. Therefore, I suggest that DGAT2 acts on assembly of primary cilia by regulating cell cycle progression in pre-adipocyte.
